New Year's Eve
Please join us as we celebrate the New Year. The evening begins with a potluck dinner at 7pm.
Dinner is followed by very simple circle dances (which anyone can do).
After that there is a Fusatsu (repentance and renewal of vows) ceremony. We then sit zazen through the new year, listening to fireworks and mayhem in the streets outside. The evening ends with a ceremonial serving of sparkling cider at about 12:30am.
This will be a wonderful evening, appropriate for the whole family. Child care is available during meditation.
Please bring a vegetarian dish to share.
