Zen Community of Oregon Covid Policy

Updated June 2024

This announcement is based on guidelines from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

As circumstances change we will update our policies.  Our recommendations and requirements may also change with the levels of community transmission

This includes the practice of preventative masking.* There may be times when masks are encouraged or required at Great Vow or Heart of Wisdom.

If you’re unable to attend an event for any reason, our offerings are frequently available online.  Please find the YouTube link for Sunday Morning Program at Great Vow, and the Zoom link for all other online offerings on our calendar page.

If you begin to experience symptoms when you are at the Temple, please put on a mask (at least KN95 quality), tell a staff person, take a Covid test if possible, and take care of yourself at home.
We will maintain ventilation in the Zendo. Please dress appropriately.
