Jizo Legacy Fund

To honor our founding teacher, Jan Chozen Bays Roshi, for her decades of dedication and leadership, we established the Jizo Legacy Fund. This fund supports the core elements of Chozen’s legacy – to continue residential Zen training at Great Vow Zen Monastery, to maintain and grow the vibrant city temple Heart of Wisdom, to support priest development, and to maintain strong paths of practice so that everyone can experience the freedom of their innate buddha-nature.

Through the Jizo Legacy Fund may Chozen Roshi’s vows be realized now and for many generations to come. Please consider making a gift, pledge, or bequest to the Jizo Legacy Fund to honor Chozen Roshi’s life’s work.
